Russell Services

Husband and wife team Steve and Joy Russell established Russell Services in 1989 with the aim of providing reliable electrical services throughout Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Their reputation for quality service has grown, now regularly undertaking projects in London.

'From the very beginning our focus is on people with customers ranging from householders to brand name corporate clients. For us, no job is too big or small and our loyal customer base trust us to turn up when we say we will and work efficiently to resolve their problems. 

All of our electricians are fully qualified to JIB standards and spot checked frequently by qualified supervisors. Our staff are hard working, punctual, time-served and dedicated to meeting our clients' expectations.'

Steve has decades of experience, with a particular skill for dealing with complex  electrical problems and even putting right the problems that other electricians cannot fix. Office manager Joy has a can-do attitude to ensure the smooth-running of the business, often ensuring the team is available at short notice if needed. Our customers may also have met the Russell Services office pets: two Irish Setter dogs Ronnie and Reggie and Maddie the parrot!

Our accreditations

Russell Services is proud to be a member of The National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). Its purpose is to protect consumers from unsafe and unsound electrical work. 

As Approved Contractors, Russell Services can self-certificate the standards of its work under current building control regulations.  We self-certify our own works, to comply with new 17th edition BS: 7671, as well as Part P of the Building Regulations.  This saves you both time and money when undertaking work that requires notification under the Building Regulations.  In order to maintain this status, we have to satisfy no fewer than 28 criteria ranging from the qualifications and experience our people have, to the way we run our business and the quality of our installations. We undergo this rigorous inspection process once a year.
